Twilight

Okay! Okay! Okay!!!!!!

A lot of my friends are wondering that since I am a very addicted fan of Twilight; why don't I have anything about Twilight on my blog. Well, to be honest...I don't know! I love Twilight. I really do. But I don't know why I haven't blogged about it.

Anyway, due to popular demand. I give you my favorite scene from Twilight. Its the baseball scene, where they meet the Nomadic Vampires. This is my favorite scene because it so much fun to watch Vampires play the all-"American Pasttime". The vampires here really get to let loose with their abilities. I love how when they hit the ball it sound is like thunder. Especially when Emmett and Edward collide in midair.

My favorite Cullen in this scene is Japser. I just love how he twirls the bat around in his hands. First when Rosalie was running the bases and when he was at bat. Its just sooo cool. I also love his form after he hits the ball. What an image!!!!

Anyhoo. Here it is....Enjoy!!!!!

Beware Of Hair Bands From China

A friend sent this to me about a day ago and I was really disgusted.

For all parents and grandparents...True according to Snopes.

Be cautious of hair bands at open markets around the city too -- they are probably from China since they are purchased in bulk very very cheap!!!! Take good look before buying hair bands in the future -- especially like the following kind...

BEIJING (AFP) - Used condoms are being recycled into hair bands in southern China threatening to spread sexually-transmittable diseases they were originally meant to prevent, state media reported Tuesday

In the latest example of potentially harmful Chinese-made products, rubber hair bands have been found in local markets and beauty salons in Dongguan and Guangzhou cities in southern Guangdong province, China Daily newspaper said.

'These cheap and colorful rubber bands and hair ties sell well ....... threatening the health of local people,' it said. Despite being recycled, the hair bands could still contain bacteria and viruses, it said.

'People could be infected with AIDS, (genital) warts or other diseases if they hold the rubber bands or strings in their mouths while waving their hair into plaits or buns,' the paper quoted a local dermatologist who gave only his surname, Dong, as saying.. A bag of ten of the recycled bands sells for just 25 s en (three cents), much cheaper than others on the market, accounting for their popularity, the paper said.

A government official was quoted as saying recycling condoms was illegal. China 's manufacturing industry has been repeatedly tarnished this year by a string of scandals involving shoddy or dangerous goods made for both domestic and foreign markets.

In response, it launched a public relations blitz this summer aimed at playing up efforts to strengthen monitoring systems.

Check your kids hair bands and make sure they do not put them in their mouth while trying to plait or tie their hair
The Chinese never fail to amaze me ......

Monday

Hello there!!!!

How are you guys out there? Hope you are doing fine. Me? Well, lets see, aside from the poor weather, I couldn't be better. What about the weather you ask? Well, first off its been raining on and off again for the past week. It rains really hard but only for a few minutes. Sometimes it doesn't even last a minute! The weather is really, really hot. Sometimes it gets really cold at night but then when the sun comes up, its scorching! Then the news announced that the reason why the weather has been crazy was because there was another storm in the area! The storm is off the coast of the country but its still strong enough to affect us.

Second, Monday was PGMA's 8th SONA. I didn't get to listen to it because we had class. I have to tell you the roads and school was like a Ghost town...hardly anybody around! I was kind of thinking that I shouldn't have come to school that day. But I was glad I did! My friend Marjorie is a really big fan of the movie Mama Mia! She's seen it 7 times already. Each time she's seen it she has always taken a friend with her. And you know what?! She is the one who pays for the tickets! Imagine that! She took me to see the movie after our last class that day. I must admit I wasn't inclined to see the movie because I just really didn't have the time to see. But I'm glad Marjorie took me to see it. It was so good! Meryl Streep was so cute when she played the part of Donna. I loved the songs, the dancing, the setting, I loved it all!!!!! Now I can't get 'The Winner Takes It All' out of my head! Love you Marjorie!!!!

Junking

My classmates and I (the Educuties) have been very busy. In fact we still are. It seems that the only break we get is during the summer vacation, because once the school semester starts we don't seem to have any free time to ourselves.

But thank goodness we are stubborn. We don't have any time to ourselves, therefore we make time. Last week, Wednesday my classmates and I took some time out of our busy schedule to 'just' hang out.
We went to Robinsons and hung out in the food court. We didn't eat a regular lunch, we just had some chips, penuts, fries, green peas, prawn crackers, and Lipton tea to drink.

A security guard almost reprimanded us for drinking 'alcohol' when he saw the bottle(s) and realized it was just iced tea! :>- Sorry!!!!! Hehehehe!!!!!!

We basically just talked about anything in general. From school (politics) to our personal lives. We mostly just ranted and raved about the happenings in school. From annoying 'kouhais' to too much school work.

We often times amaze ourselves, because for all the complaining we do...we actually get the work done!

Not only did we do what we wanted. We got to relieve our stress, have fun, and feel refreshed. In the end all that was left behind was our garbage!
