Parents 26TH Anniversary

Thursday, April 9, was my parents 26TH wedding anniversary!!!! I can't believe they have been together for that long already. I mean I have heard of couples who have stayed together for longer than that, but when it comes to my parents...I'm amazed!

I am one lucky girl!

Anyway, we ate at this restaurant near the Violago Church. It was called Luk Foo. The food was delicious and I got full really fast.

After dinner we went to Wednesday Prayer Meeting in Violago. There we also attended a Healing Mass. I got a headache from he incense they burned and by the time we got home I wasn't feeling any better. But I was okay the next day. So no worries!

Modern Toilet Eatery....

The "Modern Toilet" Eatery:

Is a Taipei restaurant. It accomodates 100 seat with each made from toilet bowls. The specialties at the restaurant accompany sink faucets and gender-codded "WC" signs that appear on the three-story structure. The food is served in mini plastic toilet bowls. The toilet rolls that serve for wiping hands and mouth are hung above the tables, which may resemble glass-topped jumbo bathtubs.

Race To Witch Mountain

What a month! I can't believe that I survived it. Thank heavens!!!! I managed to pass all my projects, assignments and requirements on time. When I passed all of my assignments I still had a lot of energy. It was only natural since I was on the go...always rushing to and fro...never slowing down for the entire month.

So to relax, I though I'd take in a movie. I saw "Race To With Mountain" starring Dwayne Johnson, AnnaSophia Rob, Alexander Ludwig and Carla Gugino. It was awesome! Of course I haven't read the book "Escape To Witch Mountain". But I think I saw the movie. I don't remember.

Anyway, I loved the movie. But there were some parts of the trailer that they didn't show. Like the part where Sarah (AnnaSophia Rob) separated this red shield in half with her hands. I think this is the part where they try to get into Witch Mountain. But I definitely saw the part where Seth (Alexander Ludwig) stood up against the car that was chasing them. I like these two actors. They are great. I saw AnnaSophia in Bridge to Terabithia, Jumper, and The Reaping, I even heard the short story she wrote in that movie. Alex I saw in the Seeker: The Dark is Rising. I hope he makes more movies soon. I like him. I like him and Josh Hutcherson. Josh is another talented actor who I saw starring with AnnaSophia Rob in Bridge to Terabithia and Journey to the Center of the Earth.

I'll be keeping an eye out for them. Well, I gotta go. Lots to do (still) and soo little time (still again).

Push

I did it! I finally watched PUSH. It was such a great movie. Though the romance could've used a bit more spark in it, it was fantastic. I think Dakota Fanning is such a good actress. She's really grown up. I love how she curses and how she protrayed that she was drunk! Classic.

Push is a recommended movie to see. Though I wish they make a part 2. I want to see Nick's and Kira's reunion! And I want to know if Cassie finally gets to be with her mom again.

Pre-Valentines Celebration!!!!!

As per tradition the Educ-beauties had their Pre-Valentines Day celebration today!!!!! Instead of having a picnic we decided to watch a movie instead.

We had 3 choices: Status: Single (Ruffa Mae Quinto) and Push (Chris Evans and Dakota Fanning). In the end due to the timing of the movies, we decided to watch Inkheart (Brendan Fraiser). At first I was reluctant since its not the movie that I wanted to watch. But since I was watching it with the Educ-beauties, I was still pretty excited!

The movie turned out to be actually pretty good. It had its ups and downs, but all-in-all its pretty good.

Now I will watch Push. I don't know if I'm going to watch it in the cinema or wait for it to come out in disc. I'll let you know!
