Underworld 3: The Rise Of The Lycans

Olla!!!! I just saw Underworld 3: Rise of the Lycans yesterday. It was great!!!! I 've always wanted to know more about Sonia. Lucian and her love story was one of the things that I always thought of after watching the previous 2 Underworld movies.

You see, I was supposed to go my doctor's appointment Saturday. But I have an Outreach to go to on the same day so I went to see my doctor yesterday. My class ended at 10am and my doctor doesn't arrive at the clinic until 4pm. So to pass the time I went window shopping, ate a Greenwich, had coffee, and watched Underworld 3. I got home around 7pm.

Underworld 3 is a recommended must see movie. The social structure between Lycans and Vampires are so dynamic. So go see it!

The next movie I want to see is "Push" starring Chris Evans and Dakota Fanning.
I didn't get to see the trailer when I watched Underworld but I saw the posters. It seemed interesting and Chris Evans and Dakota Fanning are both good actors. Plus I love the paranormal!!!!!!

I'll let you know how the movie is!

Twilight

Okay! Okay! Okay!!!!!!

A lot of my friends are wondering that since I am a very addicted fan of Twilight; why don't I have anything about Twilight on my blog. Well, to be honest...I don't know! I love Twilight. I really do. But I don't know why I haven't blogged about it.

Anyway, due to popular demand. I give you my favorite scene from Twilight. Its the baseball scene, where they meet the Nomadic Vampires. This is my favorite scene because it so much fun to watch Vampires play the all-"American Pasttime". The vampires here really get to let loose with their abilities. I love how when they hit the ball it sound is like thunder. Especially when Emmett and Edward collide in midair.

My favorite Cullen in this scene is Japser. I just love how he twirls the bat around in his hands. First when Rosalie was running the bases and when he was at bat. Its just sooo cool. I also love his form after he hits the ball. What an image!!!!

Anyhoo. Here it is....Enjoy!!!!!

Beware Of Hair Bands From China

A friend sent this to me about a day ago and I was really disgusted.

For all parents and grandparents...True according to Snopes.

Be cautious of hair bands at open markets around the city too -- they are probably from China since they are purchased in bulk very very cheap!!!! Take good look before buying hair bands in the future -- especially like the following kind...

BEIJING (AFP) - Used condoms are being recycled into hair bands in southern China threatening to spread sexually-transmittable diseases they were originally meant to prevent, state media reported Tuesday

In the latest example of potentially harmful Chinese-made products, rubber hair bands have been found in local markets and beauty salons in Dongguan and Guangzhou cities in southern Guangdong province, China Daily newspaper said.

'These cheap and colorful rubber bands and hair ties sell well ....... threatening the health of local people,' it said. Despite being recycled, the hair bands could still contain bacteria and viruses, it said.

'People could be infected with AIDS, (genital) warts or other diseases if they hold the rubber bands or strings in their mouths while waving their hair into plaits or buns,' the paper quoted a local dermatologist who gave only his surname, Dong, as saying.. A bag of ten of the recycled bands sells for just 25 s en (three cents), much cheaper than others on the market, accounting for their popularity, the paper said.

A government official was quoted as saying recycling condoms was illegal. China 's manufacturing industry has been repeatedly tarnished this year by a string of scandals involving shoddy or dangerous goods made for both domestic and foreign markets.

In response, it launched a public relations blitz this summer aimed at playing up efforts to strengthen monitoring systems.

Check your kids hair bands and make sure they do not put them in their mouth while trying to plait or tie their hair
The Chinese never fail to amaze me ......
